Our identity and stories are constantly evolving and shape shifting as we move through our communities and lifespan. Sometimes we may feel stuck or at an impasse to process these transitions when life feels too overwhelming. As a clinician my desire is to work with clients in building trust, reflecting on their personal experiences and moving forward by making conscious choices that align with their core values, goals and authentic truths. I believe everyone deserves to live their lives with agency, honesty and compassion in their relationships, families, workplaces and communities.

My areas of interest include LGBTIQA+ relationship dynamics, gender-identity exploration, persons recovering from religious/spiritual trauma or abuse, sexual shame, reclaiming sexual pleasure individually or within relationships, processing intergenerational trauma, navigating chronic illness and pain, as well as exploring relationship and spiritual concerns. I look forward to working with individuals, couples, polyamorous relationships and families of all walks of life in a culturally responsive and strength-based manner.

My trauma-informed and sex positive approach with clients combines Narrative therapy, Emotion-focused therapy and Cognitive behavioral therapy to guide our sessions that best meets the unique needs of each individual and relationship structure. I believe working alongside clients in co-creating a narrative that validates their lived experiences and intersectional identities, and creates room for personal evolution and radical self-compassion.

Prior to joining the Edges team I have several years of experience working in the fields of education, dance and advocacy for sex workersโ€™ rights. I also have extensive experience being active and serving in the following communities: BDSM/kink, polyamorous/ethical non-monogamous, pagan, Deaf, trans, queer, disabled and sex worker. โ€‹

In my free time I enjoy reading Tarot, kayaking, dancing and spending time with my beloved pets. I am honored to be working as an intern therapist at Edges Wellness Center LLC under the supervision of Tessa Gittleman, MA, LMFT.
